Run The Spectrum 2015
Run the Spectrum is back for 2015 at South Park in Darlington on Sunday 20th September. Kids go FREE!
This unique event is part of a calendar of events to celebrate their 35th Anniversary. The event is less about your level of fitness and more about having a fun time! Autism affects everyone differently; hence it is classed as a spectrum condition, so let’s make our event a blaze of colour across the whole spectrum!
Runners (or walkers) are challenged to complete a course through South Park, Darlington while being doused from head to toe in vibrant colours in a huge Colour Party at the start and then as they pass through colour stations along the route. Get together as a team and enter the event along with your family, friends and work colleagues.
Registration is only £20.00 with a pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £35 to help our work with children, young people and adults with autism.
Children aged 15 and under can enter the event for FREE but must be accompanied by a participating adult (limit to 2 children per adult). Please note that children will not receive runners’ packs on the day but t-shirts and powdered paint can be purchased from our online-shop and ordered in advance.
Once you register we will send you a Spectrum Run Fundraising Pack and reserve your t-shirt to pick up on the day of the event (the event pack contains t-shirt, bag of powder paint and run goodies). Please complete ALL participants contact details so we can send registration packs and keep everyone up-to-date with the event information.
